One of a series that we recently brought into the US. These are power-slabs, with an intense shimmery-satiny grain that includes MegaCurl, Whitebait, and Active Grain. All the most sought-out attributes in the Ancient Kauri wood, all in one slab. Very rare, very special indeed!

There are some checks (fine cracks) in this slab which we would typically fill with epoxy resin. This is not the only alternative, it is just the one we would turn to if we were filling these checks today.

Some of the characteristics we will see in this when it is polished and finished are:

MegaCurl.

Whitebait. 

Super-satiny Active Grain.

The natural edges have great texture, and will be inviting to the touch on a finished tabletop. The fall-away of these natural edges is fairly strong on this slab.

This is a great prospect to be made into an extensive series of guitars- it is time to start your new signature series!
