Curls in the surface grain and deep color in the natural edges. The end grain is polished to a very fine grit to show off the growth rings of this Ancient piece of timber.

 

The inclusion on one end adds to the drama of this piece, and at 4+ inches thick, it is strong and massive.

 

Polished and finished with a durable natural European Oil.
